Fisetin is a naturally occurring flavonol found in small amounts in foods such as strawberries, apples, and onions. Double Wood sources fisetin from the stems of the smoke tree, Cotinus coggygria, a concentrated botanical source that makes it possible to provide 100 mg of fisetin per capsule.

Fisetin is best known for its antioxidant and senolytic research. Senolytics are compounds being studied for their potential ability to selectively target senescent cells—aging or damaged cells that have stopped dividing but remain active in the body.

Preclinical research also suggests that fisetin may support cognitive function, neuronal health, and healthy aging. Human research is still developing, so fisetin should not be presented as a proven treatment for age-related conditions.
